Lonely Planet names Montenegro as 'Must-Visit' Destination for 2008
Montenegro is one of 30 must-visit travel destinations for the coming year, according to 'Lonely Planet Bluelist: The Best in Travel 2008'.
Lonely Planet is the world’s best known tourist guide and around five million people visit the Lonely Planet website every month.
This is the third edition of Lonely Planet's best-selling annual title which unveils the world's hottest destinations.
“This recommendation is a result of the Montenegrin government’s well considered tourism policy, the country’s dynamic tourist development, and its intensive promotional activities on the international market,” according to Montenegro's Ministry of Tourism.
