Tourism officials from Montenegro plan to open their first UK office in London in 2009, which will be run in conjunction with its national airline. Montenegro Airlines began operating direct flights from the UK in June this year, currently flying three times a week from London Gatwick to Tivat in Montenegro but there are plans to extend this to five times week in the near future.
Montenegro's plans for the future focus heavily on tourism and the country is keen to become an elite tourist destination.
