Parilo apartment
Kotor Old Town
This lovely apartment is located within the old town walls of Kotor, a delightful city with a rich and varied history. Listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, Kotor is one of the best preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean. Within these ancient walls lies an incredible collection of Renaissance and Romanesque palaces, churches, museums and an impressive cathedral.
The town is a maze of winding alleyways and shady marble-paved squares with chic but authentically local outdoor cafes, and a good selection of restaurants, bars and shops. It is a lively place both by day and by night. A busy local market selling fresh local produce is just outside the ramparts. Step outside the city gate and before you lie the sapphire waters of the stunningly beautiful Boka Kotorska, the Mediterranean's only fjord.
This spacious comfortable apartment is on the third floor of an old Venetian building and has attractive views of the square below and the ancient fortress on the hillside behind. It has been newly renovated and has high ceilings and wooden flooring characteristic of Kotor's old buildings. It is only a couple of minutes walk from cafes, bars and restaurants and five minutes from the waterfront.
No cars are allowed within the old town, but several car parks are available just outside the town walls, a few minutes walk from the apartment.
