Perast itself is a gem of a place. The relaxed little town is full of wonderful baroque architecture; palaces and mansions, churches and museums are strung along the waters edge.
Near the apartment on a little beach is a bar - the perfect place to sit and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the stunning views.
Find someone willing to take you across the water to visit the island's wonderful museum and for fantastic views of the town itself.
If you come to Perast in the summer months you may be able to enjoy one of the traditional festivals that take place here.
A short 15 minute drive from Perast is the lively medieval town of Kotor with a great deal to explore as well as a good selection of restaurants, bars and shops.
