Montenegro has two airports, Tivat and Podgorica, but the most popular option is to fly to Croatia's Dubrovnik airport, just 16km across the border. We strongly recommend booking early to get the best prices.

British Airways flies daily from London Gatwick to Dubrovnik from 25th March until 27th October, and four times a week outside these dates. Flights leave at 11:55 am and take 2 hours 40 minutes. Prices from Gatwick to Dubrovnik start from around £120 return, including all fees and taxes. There are early morning flights from Manchester which connect with this service, with prices from around £160 return. Book online at www.ba.com
Thomson flies to Dubrovnik from Manchester (four times a week) and London Gatwick (once a week) between May and November and has some really great deals. Check what they have on offer at www.thomsonfly.com. Flybe has reasonably priced flights from Birmingham to Dubrovnik between May and October. Look for good deals at www.flybe.com. Aer Lingus flies direct from Dublin to Dubrovnik several times a week. Book at www.flyaerlingus.com
JAT Airways flies direct from Heathrow to Tivat during the summer months. Look at www.jat.com or call 0207 6292007 or email sales@jatlondon.com for details. Alternatively, fly to Belgrade and get a connecting flight to Tivat or Podgorica with JAT or Montenegro Airlines. See www.montenegro-airlines.cg.yu for details.
In the summer months there is a ferry service between Montenegro and Italy; from Bari to Kotor and from Ancona to Bar. Both routes operate twice weekly.
